“Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca [Weeping], They make it a spring; . . . they go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion” (Psalm 84:5-6a, 7).
“The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them . . . and save them, because they trust in Him” (Psalm 37:39-40).

“How long, Lord? Will You hide Yourself forever”? … Lord, where are your former lovingkindnesses, which you swore to David in your truth?” (Psalm 89: 46, 49).
O LORD God of hosts, how long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people? You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in great measure . . . Restore us, O God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved” (Psalm 80:4-5, 7; see also 3, 19).
